The pilot gave no indication of any trouble before the crash, the Federal Aviation Administration reported. Both resulted from cargo loading irregularities. Charles Curran, Comair's vice president for marketing, told a news conference that Flight 3272 was on what appeared to be a routine flight. More than 300 of the planes are in use, most of them in North America where they are popular with regional and commuter airlines. He was unable to make it out of the car and was caught up in the fireball that engulfed the multi-lane avenue, field, and parking lot.Five people were killed in total: the three aircrew members, a company security guard on the flight, and the man in the parking lot.
